Welcome to CulinaryBrief: Our Approach to Stress-Free Cooking
Cook Once, Eat Well All Week
At CulinaryBrief, we believe food should be more than something you throw on the plate at the end of a long day. Cooking is culture, connection, and creativity — but it also has to be realistic for busy weeknights.
That’s why we created our OneBatch cooking system. Instead of starting from scratch every evening, we prepare one flavorful protein base on Sunday, then remix it into quick meals during the week. It saves time, reduces stress, and keeps our kitchens full of whole, nourishing food.
This Week’s Base: Tuscan Yogurt Chicken
One of our favorite starting points is Tuscan Yogurt Chicken. Yogurt tenderizes the meat, lemon and garlic brighten the flavor, and simple herbs transform it into a Mediterranean staple.
Base Recipe (Tuscan Yogurt Chicken)
1 cup Greek yogurt
3 cloves garlic, minced
Juice + zest of 1 lemon
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp kosher salt, ½ tsp black pepper
2–2.5 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
Method
Whisk marinade ingredients together.
Coat chicken and refrigerate 2 hrs (overnight best).
Roast at 400°F for 25–30 minutes, until internal temp hits 165°F.
Rest 5 minutes before slicing.
From here, the possibilities open up. This one recipe can become a fresh orzo salad, a quick flatbread wrap, or a Mediterranean grain bowl with tzatziki.
