I Want to See What You Make
I'd love a post on how to cook rice. I have ended up with sticky clumpy rice a few times so I'm frustrated. I have a pressure cooker and have also just cooked in a pot on the stove. Thanks!
Hey Kelly! Rice frustration is real. Here’s what works for me:
Stovetop: Rinse rice → 1 cup rice to 1¾ cups water → Bring to boil → Lowest simmer, covered, 15-18 min → Let sit 5 min → Fluff
Pressure cooker: Same ratio → High pressure 3 min → Natural release 10 min
The finger method works, but exact ratios are more consistent!
I should do a full rice guide soon - you’re not alone in this struggle. Thanks for the idea!
Rinse rice until water runs clear (removes excess starch = less clumpy)
